Women are tough. Women are strong. But to read the national headlines today or to skim through titles available in your local Christian bookstore, you wouldn’t know it. Culture has lied to women about their role and what it means to be female, while the Church has weakened women, feeding them feel-good messages instead of teaching them to study scripture for themselves and stand steady when cultural storms brew. It’s no wonder we find ourselves feeling disempowered, misunderstood, and frustrated. Women are deeply confused about the way a godly woman is called to walk through the world.
