In addition to the requirements set forth above in Section 3 for Submissions, each Submission that is entered into any Contest must meet ALL the following requirements:

  1. The Submission must be the entrant’s original creation and/or owned 100% by the entrant. Any digital alterations or derivatives of materials or photos belonging to third parties will also be disqualified.
  2. The Submission must be free of all watermarks and marks of authorship or ownership.

Note: Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Submission in any Contest if Sponsor views such Submission as a violation or potential violation of any third party’s rights, lacking in taste or quality, or otherwise objectionable.

5. Use of Submissions

Sponsor shall have the right to use any Submissions for any use throughout the world, in perpetuity, for any purpose, in any media, now or hereafter developed. Sponsor will have the right to edit, modify, alter, and copy any Submission in its sole discretion. Sponsor has no obligation to use any Submission, including any Grand Prize (as defined below)-winning Submission, for any purpose. Sponsor may post some or all Submissions along with the applicable entrant’s first name and/or state of residence on any of its social media pages, accounts, and/or websites. 6. Winner Selection

On or about June 1, 2026, Sponsor will choose four Grand Prize (as defined below) winners (one for each of the following calendars: 365 Cats Page-A-Day Calendar, 365 Dogs Page-A-Day Calendar, 365 Puppies A Year Calendar, and 365 Kittens A Year Calendar (each, a “Calendar”)). Each Grand Prize winner will be selected by a panel of judges, consisting of the marketing and editorial staff of Sponsor (“Judges”), from among all eligible Submissions, using the following criteria:

  • 40%: the subject matter consists of any of the following: beautiful portraits, action, unusual and humorous snapshots, and/or pets celebrating the holidays.
  • 40%: originality/creativity (the photo reflects an original thought or design, showcasing the pet’s personality and the entrant’s unique interpretation of theme).
  • 20%: visual and artistic impact (the overall design and execution of the photo has a lasting and memorable impact on the viewer).

Judges’ decisions will be final and binding in all matters related to any Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to not award any or all Grand Prizes if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive enough eligible and qualified Submissions. Sponsor will not reveal the judging scores for any Submission.

7. Winner Notification

Each potential winner whose Submission has been selected as the winning entry for any Calendar, but who has not yet been verified as an official winner (each, a “Potential Winner”) will be notified by Sponsor on or about 90 business days after the Submission Period ends (“Notification Date”) via email. Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted, delayed, or not received by the Potential Winner for any reason. Each Potential Winner may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Copyright Assignment, a Liability Waiver, a Publicity Release, and/or any other document reasonably requested by Sponsor in connection with the applicable Contest (“Prize Claim Documents”) within five (5) days of the date on which Sponsor notifies the Potential Winner of their winning status. If a Potential Winner does not respond to the initial notification within five (5) days of notification of their winning status, all required Prize Claim Documents are not returned within the time period specified by Sponsor (if applicable), any notification relating to the Grand Prize is returned as undeliverable, or such Potential Winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, such Potential Winner will forfeit the Grand Prize and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate potential winner may be selected.

8. Prize

Four winning entrants (one for each of the Calendars) will receive:

9. General Prize Conditions

Any Grand Prize will be awarded only if the applicable Potential Winner fully complies with these Official Rules. No interest will be paid on any Grand Prize. The Grand Prizes are non-transferable and non-assignable, and non-cash prizes cannot be redeemed for cash. By participating in any Contest, each entrant irrevocably grants the Contest Entities and their respective successors, assigns, and/or licensees the right to use such entrant’s first name, state or residence, and/or Submission, in whole or in part, in any and all media, now or hereafter known, in any manner and together with other materials, for any purpose (including, without limitation, advertising and promotional purposes or in connection with such Contest and/or other promotions conducted by the Contest Entities), worldwide, in perpetuity, without further compensation or notice to or permission from such entrant, and each entrant hereby releases each and all Contest Entities from any liability with respect thereto. No Contest Entity will be responsible for any unauthorized use of any Submission by a third party. Sponsor has no obligation to make use of the rights granted in this Section 10.

11. General Liability Release / Force Majeure

Each entrant agrees that no Contest Entity (i) will be responsible or liable for any losses, damages, or injuries of any kind resulting from participation in any Contest or any Contest-related activity, or from acceptance, receipt, possession, and/or misuse of any Grand Prize; and (ii) has made any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any Grand Prize, including, without limitation, as to such Grand Prize’s quality or fitness for a particular purpose. Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of any Contest, acting in violation of these Official Rules, acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or acting with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of any Contest or to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any person (and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including attorneys’ fees) and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law).

In the event Sponsor is prevented from awarding any or all Grand Prizes or continuing with any Contest as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, including, but not limited to, fire, flood, natural or man-made epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared), any federal, state, or local governing law, order, regulation, public health crisis, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within Sponsor’s control (each, a “Force Majeure”), then, subject to any governmental approval that may be required, Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any or all Contests. If any Contest is terminated for Force Majeure before the end of the Submission Period, Sponsor will (if possible) select the Potential Winner(s) from all eligible, non-suspect Submissions received as of the date of the event of the Force Majeure giving rise to the termination, using the judging procedure set forth above or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor.

These Official Rules cannot be modified or amended in any way except in a written document issued in accordance with law by a duly authorized representative of Sponsor. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
